High Country Workshop

Falls Creek

Date: April 17 - 20, 2020

This will be our 17th year of conducting the High Country Workshop and our 13th consecutive year at Falls Creek.

Whether it be the raging rivers, tranquil lakes, magnificent Snow Gums, great vistas, incredible rock formations, mountain huts, or new discoveries, the landscape and area is so inspiring and the perfect place to indulge yourself in photography for 4 days.

During our indoor sessions we will discuss and demonstrate some of the more technical ways of improving our photography. As well as a thorough review of participants work. Richard will show and discuss his own finely crafted prints which will round off a very useful exercise. There is a good mix of both indoor and outdoor sessions for colour or black and white images which will go towards improving not only your vision and composition, but your overall approach to photography as well.

Our accommodation will be in one of the comfortable ski lodges at Falls Creek. This workshop begins Friday evening at 6.00pm for dinner or 7.30pm for instruction and concludes the following Monday around midday.

For a teaser on this workshop see the short clip made by film maker, Don Parham, about Richard here.

Workshop Fee: $975, which includes three nights accomodation and transport during the workshop.
