Presenter Profiles

Richard White
Richard has been a professional photographer for over 20 years and has taught workshops since 1995. He is a Double Master of Photography with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and Past President of the Victorian division. In 2003 he was awarded an Arts Council Grant for overseas study and won the Victorian Professional Photography Landscape Award. Richard is also a Judge at the Annual AIPP photography awards and has won numerous other awards for his photography. A regular exhibitor of landscape photography and keynote speaker at photography functions. He has studied with Bruce Barnbaum (USA) Jay Dusard (USA) Ray McSavaney (USA) and John Sexton (USA, assistant to Ansel Adams). Also writes regular articles for Better Photography magazine, produces the high quality High Country Calendar, a range of black & white postcards and has worked on major documentary projects for television.

Joe Cornish
One of Britain's foremost photographers and all around nice guy. Has photographed for the UK National Trust photo library for more than 15 years, responsible for images in more than 30 travel books and contributes regularly to photographic magazines in the UK. Joe's first book as photographer and author, First Light, A Landscape Photographers Art is now in it's 5th printing and his most recent book is titled Scotland's Coast, A Photographers Journey. Jeff Moorfoot
Jeff is a doyen of Australian photography. A triple Master of Photography and Fellow of the AIPP as well asa national and State judge. A past lecturer in photography at RMIT University and founder of the Foto Biennale in Victoria and of the Free Radical Photography Group. Jeff is also the External industry assessor of graduate folios at Photography Studies College in Melbourne and part of the National Education Sub Committee of the AIPP. He has held numerous solo and group exhibitions of his work and is highly regarded for his conceptual approach to imagery. You'll want to photograph him, laugh with him and learn from him.

Don Parham
If a workshop program could have a wild card, then Don is it! These days he makes his living as a film maker, but it all began from his photography background. Images are images and Don has made some of the best. Numerous documentaries have passed before us on the ABC, SBS and Channel Ten. If we can prise him away from his filming schedule he will add another dimension to the workshop and challenge you to think about the power of the still image.

Anthony Browell
This gentleman of the craft originates from England. He studied and practised photography in London before emigrating to Sydney many years ago. Editorial, corporate architectural and advertising work, coupled with teaching spells, portraiture and personal work has kept Anthony busy in the world of photography for most of his life. He still lives in Sydney and his diversity of imagery will excite and challenge you to explore different avenues. His work is seen in several international publications and is part of many private and public collections including the National Portrait Gallery and the Royal Australian Institute of Architects.
